Inbound invoice mailbox
Forward supported PDF invoices to your tenant-specific address. Delivery depends on configured email routing.
The audit pipeline
Carriers overcharge on roughly 1 in 5 brokered invoices — wrong rates, unapproved accessorials, and inflated detention. FreightAudit AI catches every variance with evidence, and hands you the claim letter ready to send. Jump straight to the profit calculator ↓
Before delivery, create a load in the dispatch workspace to generate a private
/driver/<uuid>/ tracking link.
Text it to the driver — no app install. They tap Arrived at origin and Departed origin,
and each check-in logs a timestamped GPS LocationEvent. The gap between them becomes your
timestamped dwell-time evidence — captured before delivery, not reconstructed after the bill arrives.
Evidence captured: origin arrival / departure timestamps + coordinates
After delivery, upload the carrier's invoice or bill of lading straight into your dashboard. Scanned PDFs, faxed quality documents, phone photos — PNG, JPEG, or WebP — are all accepted up to 10 MB. The POD is linked back to its tracked shipment so the audit engine inherits the GPS log automatically.
Inputs: carrier invoice/BOL + contracted base & detention rates
Google Gemini Vision parses every line item — base rate, FSC, accessorials, detention hours — into structured data. The audit engine then verifies each figure against your custom rate card and injects the pre-delivery GPS timestamps into the model context. If billed detention exceeds recorded dwell time, a “Detention Overcharge Discrepancy” is flagged automatically with the dollar delta quantified.
Output: CLEAN verdict or itemized discrepancy report per invoice
One click generates the formal claim email addressed to the carrier's billing department: Invoice ID, Load Number, Billed Amount vs. Expected Rate Card Amount, and the exact discrepancy reason — e.g. “Invoiced 3 hours detention ($150); GPS verified dwell time was 1 hour ($50).” Copy it, preview it, or export the full audit as CSV/Excel for your records.
Recovery: corrected invoice or credit memo from the carrier
Built for your audit desk
The audit workflow also supports these account tools:
Forward supported PDF invoices to your tenant-specific address. Delivery depends on configured email routing.
Upload and follow multiple invoice audits together, then open each review as it completes.
Filter eligible audits by status and date range before downloading tabular accounting data.
Connect Gmail or configure per-account SMTP for dispute delivery. Review each message before sending.
Manual audit desks charge 5–10% of recovered dollars and take weeks per claim. FreightAudit AI audits in under a minute, flat monthly pricing, and every claim ships with GPS evidence attached.
Competitor parity
